Mobile World Congress 2021: We are not seeing as many new phone launches in 2021, as in previous years. Other than a few refreshed Moto phones and the Galaxy S21 lineup from Samsung, the most important new arrival is the $800 Galaxy S21+, $1,200 Galaxy S21+ and the slightly larger Galaxy S21+.
We’re not sure you love the latest Samsung phones. Asus will release a new ROG gaming handset later this spring. OnePlus’ new handset will follow. A professional online paper writer will share with you the list of top smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S21 ($800)
Samsung took a smart lesson form Apple, lowering the price for the Galaxy S21 standard model to $800 while adding even more tech. The S21 features an OLED display of 6.2 inches and a 120HZ VRR screen. It can adjust its refresh rate to match the content. Samsung has also introduced a new in-screen fingerprint scanner that is 1.7 times larger than its predecessor and noticeably quicker, while still offering full 5G connectivity. An iPhone 12 equivalent has only two rear cameras. The S21 boasts three. It includes a 12-MP main cam and an ultra-wide cam of 12-MP. A 64-MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom.
Notably, the S21 doesn’t include microSD expansion and a bundled brick power brick. However, the S21’s $800 price tag is still very attractive considering all the high-end features that come with it, including wireless and reverse wireless charging as well as Wi-Fi 6E and IP68 water resistance.
Pixel 4a 5G $500
The Pixel 4a5G is an affordable $500 phone that has almost everything you would want or need. Its 6.2 inch screen is large enough to not be too bulky. The OLED display has better brightness and richer color than other phones this price. The Pixel 4a 5G is also free from unnecessary extras. This means that instead of a fancy fingerprint reader in the screen, there’s a simple sensor located around the back. The Pixel 4a 5G features a 12.2-MP maincam and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. As its name suggests, it supports 5G (sub-6Ghz in standard models and sub-6GHz and/or mmWave in more expensive Verizon branded models). Like other Pixels the Pixel 4a 5G offers the best software experience possible thanks to Android updates from day one and software features such the Pixel Recorder, Duplex and many more. A third telephotocam is the only thing that we would have liked to see from Google.
Pixel 4a ($350).
Google’s Pixel 4a is a return to the budget smartphone market after breaking into the affordable phones world with its Pixel 3a. It’s easy to use and has a better display and camera than most other phones. While the Pixel 4a may not be the fastest, the Snapdragon 730 of the Pixel 4a still delivers an excellent experience. The phone also features a headphone jack, much like the larger Pixel 4a 5G. The Pixel 4a is a phone that people will choose if they are looking for a basic phone that does everything well.
iPhone 12 ($800
If you don’t feel the iPhone 12 Pro has enough features, or are not willing to spend more money on it, the standard iPhone 12 will still be a good choice. It has all the core features that the iPhone 12 Pro offers, including a powerful A14 Bionic chip and Face ID. Although it does not have a dedicated Telephoto cam, the 12-MP main camera and 12-MP ultra wide cam offer better image quality than ever. You can also choose from a variety of colors, such as black, white and red.
