The Cost of Living in the United States:

In recent years, the cost of living in America has been going up. The average American spends about $38 an hour a year on various goods and services just to live. In this article, we’re going to examine how exactly Americans spend their time and money, what they are spending it on, and why life is so expensive for them now.

A few years ago the price of goods in America was pretty average when compared with other countries. Now not only has living become more expensive but many basic needs have skyrocketed as well.

For example, just one year ago an American could buy a pound of ground beef for $0.99 while today that same thing costs over $200 per pound! And then there’s rent: in some places, you can pay up to 600% more than your fair share if you happen to be renting from someone who owns rather than rents apartments or homes out as most people do.
